Host an Exhibition
We host a number of prominent touring exhibitions annually and would be delighted to discuss any opportunities to host exhibitions. Please email heritage@newlanark.org to make an enquiry about hosting an exhibition at New Lanark.
People & Cotton
Experience the sights and sounds of our 19th-century textile machinery and get a feel for what it was like for the mill workers on the textile floor. As we continue to explore and engage with our colonial past and its lasting impact, this exhibition will evolve over the coming year, offering new perspectives and insights.
Tenement Through Time
This innovative and interactive exhibition explores tenement life in New Lanark between 1881-1971. The exhibition offers visitors a glimpse into tenement life through the decades, showcasing a faithful representation of “Museum Stair,” a rare, untouched tenement on-site that remains closed to the public. This exhibit highlights the significance of this preserved space, allowing a unique view into the living conditions and history of New Lanark’s past residents.
