South Lanarkshire Museums Forum

A networking service which offers support and guidance to independent and voluntary-run museums in South Lanarkshire.

Lanark Community Development Trust

A charitable, non-profit body which carries out volunteer-led projects for the common good of the historic Royal Burgh of Lanark.

CAVLP

A Heritage Lottery funded project which aims to conserve, enhance and celebrate the unique landscape and cultural heritage of the Clyde and Avon Valleys.

Manage the Falls of Clyde Wildlife Reserve located within New Lanark World Heritage Site.

Historic New Harmony

A department within Outreach and Engagement at the University of Southern Indiana, maintains 26 buildings and 40 acres in New Harmony, Indiana (The site of Robert Owen's utopian experiment).

Located in Owen's birthplace at Newtown, Wales. The Museum houses a collection of objects, written material and pictures relating to the life of Robert Owen.

Provides educational access to digital materials representing Scotland's material culture and history and many images of and relating to New Lanark are available on the site.

Historic Environment Scotland

Providing the co-ordination for Scottish World Heritage Sites and holding current and historic photographs, maps and architectural drawings of New Lanark. Also provides a grant for maintenance of our buildings and our learning & outreach programme.
