GUIDED TOUR
Engage your class with a bespoke tour
Secondary level guided tours can be provided on a selection of topics.
Learners will visit the key areas of the site and be encouraged to think critically about the interpretation of history and how social issues impacted those in the past. Discovery Tours can be adjusted to suit your relevant area of study on request.
Topics:
- The Story of New Lanark
- Power Trail (Hydropower)
- Themes explored in tours include the Victorians, the Industrial Revolution and Renewable energy
- Level: S1-5
- Length: 60-90 minutes (depending on content).

SELF-LED VISITS
Self-led visits are a flexible and fun way to explore New Lanark. Our team can provide supporting resources to help you guide your group around the site and engage them with their topic of study.
