How to Book Your Group Visit

Planning your group visit to New Lanark has never been simpler! Our user-friendly online form allows you to submit all group details in one go, eliminating the need for back-and-forth emails. Just complete the form, and we’ll confirm availability the same day and contact you to discuss payment options. For more information, see below for a simple breakdown of our booking process.

Submit Booking Request Online

Visit newlanark.org/bookyourgroupvisit or click Book Now to complete our user-friendly online form. Submit your group details in one simple step for a seamless booking experience!

Receive Confirmation

Upon confirmation of availability, you’ll receive a booking confirmation email containing your unique reference number.

Secure with a Deposit

Following confirmation, our team will contact you to arrange a £5 per person deposit. Alternative arrangements can be accommodated in certain cases.

Finalise Details

If catering is included, please confirm your group size at least 7 days prior to arrival. You may cancel your booking up to 14 days before arrival for a full deposit refund. Cancellations within 14 days are not eligible for a deposit refund.

Complete Payment on Arrival

The final balance must be paid at the Visitor Attraction on the day of arrival. Groups may adjust their numbers upon arrival; however, if the group size falls below 20, standard rates will apply.

Car Park Information & Prices

In order to support the Trust to achieve its charitable goals and maintain our grounds and historic buildings, donations are essential. Money we receive for you parking at New Lanark is a key contributor and we are very grateful for your contribution. Our parking is managed by a third party, Minster Baywatch, and offers a variety of ways to pay.

Car Park Pricing:

Cars: £3 for 24 hours
Motorhomes/Campervans £5 for 24 hours
Coaches/Buses: FREE

Coach Parking and Group Visitor Instructions:

Coaches transporting group visitors should follow the main road down into the village to access the village square, where passengers can disembark. The road is steep but navigable, with a sufficient turning circle at the square. Drivers must exercise extreme caution when reversing in the village. After passengers disembark, the coach must proceed to the main visitor car park. At the end of the visit, the coach may return to the village square to pick up the group.

Shuttle Bus Schedule:

The shuttle bus from the main visitor attraction car park to the entrance operates from 10:00 AM to 4:15 PM, Friday through Monday.

Important:

Drivers have a 15-minute grace period to purchase a parking ticket, payable via cash, card, or the RingGo app. We recommend carrying cash as alternative in case of technical difficulties. For any issues with the payment machine, please contact us at 01555 663950 or email trust@newlanark.org.

Group Booking Terms & Conditions

Minimum Numbers & Surcharge:

The minimum number for group rates is 20 people.
Groups under 20 people are also welcome, but standard rates will apply.
Should you require a guided tour, a £50 surcharge will apply to groups under 20 people.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancel up to 14 days prior to arrival for a full deposit refund.
Cancellations within 14 days are not eligible for a deposit refund.

Free Tickets & Discounts:

One free place is offered for the driver or tour guide, plus a 25% discount on food and drink at our Mill Café.
